I finally decided it was time to make something special for my little girls. I always love to make new crochet items but still haven’t created anything specific for my daughters! Valentine’s Day is coming up soon and I spent quite a bit of time snooping around on Pinterest to get some ideas of what to make for them. Then I found this perfect free heart hat pattern by Classy Crochet and got to work. Unfortunately, I misplaced my H hook – no surprise there. Whenever I need a certain hook, it always seems to be lost. I ended up using size I hook and it fit my 16 month old perfectly anyways.
I also added an adorable pom pom on top for a little extra pizzazz. Here is my 16 month old wearing her sweet little hat. I put my finished pink and white heart hat up on Etsy here and will make them as I get orders.
Next up is another heart hat for my 4 year old, whose favorite color is “all of them”. She picked out her colors and below is a sneak peak of her hat. She also wants a mohawk instead of a pom pom. It’ll be my first mohawk hat, and with all these colors it’ll be a very exciting hat. Check back soon to see her festive red, white and pink heart hat!
